About inspire and the inspire program
Inspire is a line of hair prosthesis products (wigs and hairpieces, eyelashes and brows) designed to address the needs
of women experiencing the effects of oncology therapies. These products are also needed by women and children suffering from
alopecia aerata (unnatural hair loss), which is a common autoimmune disease that affects one out of 100 people.
While not life threatening, alopecia can have psychological and emotional effects similar to those experienced by cancer
patients.
Inspire is also the name of the program of services provided to medical institutions wishing to incorporate this image
recovery service into the oncology therapies offered. The new standard of care is becoming more and more inclusive of the
methods and services that enhance conventional oncology treatment. Image recovery assistance is an important component
of many new cancer centers.
Program Assistance For Hospitals
The
Inspire team will work with you to design the image recovery assistance program that fits your oncology department.
Issues of space, decor, equipment, staffing, supplies, etc. will be custom designed to match the
Inspire assistance
to your individual organization needs. You can find more about getting started
here.
Presenting Image Recovery Assistance to Patients
It is extremely important to consider a patient's frame of mind when presenting an offer of image recovery assistance. Even
though
Inspire services are highly sought after by oncology patients and their families, the right presentation is
absolutely crucial to a woman's self-esteem.
The Inspire team will work closely with the hospital staff to determine how the program fits and how it will be implemented.
The program can be tailored to work with almost any oncology department, and the benefit of working with Inspire is that after
assessing the department's needs, the rest of the project is taken care of without using valuable hospital staff resources. Inspire
will handle setting up the space, procuring equipment, decor and supplies, and supplying trained, licensed, professionals to
provide the image recovery assistance services to the patients.
